By order of Moraes, PF searches and targets suspects of undemocratic acts

The Federal Police (PF) began an operation this Thursday morning (15) to find those responsible for the coup protests, such as roadblocks, carried out by supporters of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) unhappy with the victory of former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) at the polls. The operation takes place one day after Minister Alexandre de Moraes declared that there are still many people to arrest for undemocratic acts taking place in the country.

According to Federal Police investigators, this is the largest offensive ever carried out against the financiers of anti-democratic acts that took place after the elections. The investigations are carried out in seven states – Acre, Amazonas, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná and Santa Catarina -, in addition to the Federal District. The orders were issued by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF).
