The objective of the program, whose registration is available via Internet, is to include girls and teachers in science. Futuras Cientistas has four modules, which are carried out during the school holidays. Participants have access to research laboratories and get to know scientists' daily lives up close. They receive aid of R$483.

Futuras Cientistas is a program of the Center for Strategic Technologies of the Northeast, of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations, with support from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. In its 10 years of existence, 205 students and teachers from public schools in ParaÃba, Pernambuco and Sergipe have gone through the program.
