Prouni: open deadline for pre-selected candidates to prove information

The period for pre-selected candidates for a scholarship from the University for All Program (Prouni) begins this Monday (15th) and runs until August 24th (Prouni) to prove their information.

Candidates to receive the Prouni scholarship must attend, virtually or in person, the respective institutions for which they were pre-selected and present all documentation that proves the information provided at the time of registration.

 The result of Prouni's first call is available on website of the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education.

The result of the second call will be available on August 29, according to the Ministry of Education (MEC). On the same date, the period for proving information from the second call will begin, which will continue until September 8th. 

If the candidate is not selected in either of the two calls, they can express interest in a vacancy by placing their name on the waiting list, between the 13th and 14th of September. Then wait for the results to be announced on September 17th.

How Prouni works

These are full and partial scholarships, at private higher education institutions, for undergraduate and sequential specific training courses.

In the second edition of the year, 190 thousand scholarships are being offered, including partial and full scholarships. 

The program has a computerized and impersonal selection system, which takes place twice a year, offering transparency and security to the process of offering scholarships, according to the MEC.
