  • Contact the driver directly by phone, using the app itself;
  • If you have your cell phone, open the Uber app, click on 'Your Trips' and select the trip. Tap 'Lost Items' and 'Contact my driver about a lost item'. Swipe down and enter the phone number to be contacted;
  • If the lost item was your cell phone, access the website and log in to your account. Go to the 'Issues with a specific trip and refunds' menu and click on 'Lost Items', then 'Contact the driver about a lost item'. Enter the phone number of a friend or acquaintance;
  • If the user is unable to contact or is unable to arrange the return of the item within 24 hours of their trip, they must speak directly to Uber, who will attempt to contact the driver. To do this, they must repeat the procedures above until they enter the 'Lost Items' menu and then click on 'Contact Uber about a lost item'.
