- If the lost item was your cell phone, access the website and log in to your account. Go to the 'Issues with a specific trip and refunds' menu and click on 'Lost Items', then 'Contact the driver about a lost item'. Enter the phone number of a friend or acquaintance;
- If the user is unable to contact or is unable to arrange the return of the item within 24 hours of their trip, they must speak directly to Uber, who will attempt to contact the driver.
