Racionais MC's will give an open class at Unicamp and the event will be broadcast live

O facebook profile from the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH) will broadcast the class live, starting at 19pm. The event is part of Unicamp Afro’s programming.

In 2018, the group from São Paulo was already on the list of mandatory works for the university's 2020 entrance exam, with the album Surviving Hell. This year, the letter of Genesis was mentioned in one of the test questions.

The arrival of Racionais to classrooms takes place two weeks after the premiere of Rational: From the Streets of São Paulo to the World on Netflix. The documentary shows the political and social impact of the group and the influence of the capital of São Paulo on the hip hop scene of the 80s.

The documentary about Racionais MC's, the most influential group in national rap, shows the origin and rise of the group formed by Mano Brown, KL Jay, Ice Blue and Edi Rock. The Netflix production features never-before-seen scenes recorded over his 34-year career, as well as exclusive interviews.
