Rebeca Andrade and Arthur Nory win bronze medal at the Gymnastics World Championship

In farewell to the iconic 'Baile de Favela' choreography, Rebeca Andrade returned to the gym in Liverpool to win her second medal at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championship this Sunday (6) and further mark her name in history. The 23-year-old Brazilian cheered the local crowd and secured the bronze medal on floor exercise, with a score of 13.733. The gold went to the British Jessica Gadirova and the silver medal went to the American Jordan Chiles.

Closing the competitions in this edition of the World Cup, the Brazilian Arthur Nory he shone on the horizontal bar and secured a bronze medal. Nory opened with a beautiful presentation and came out on top, with a score of 14.466.

With this, Brazil breaks its record for medals in World Cups, adding three in this edition.

The gold in the bars went to the American Broody Malone (14.800) and the silver went to the Japanese Daiki Hashimoto (14.700).

The last athlete on the floor, Jessica Gadirova secured gold with a score of 14.200. Silver went to Chiles, who had a score of 13.833. Jade Carey, also from the United States, asked for a review of her score and lost points, taking bronze, tied with Rebeca Andrade, 13.773. Fifth place went to Dutchwoman Nomi Visser. Twin Jeniffer Gadirova was sixth, Italian Martina Maggio was seventh and Japanese Shoko Miyata finished in eighth place.

Rebeca achieved medals in four different categories totaling all the World Championships she competed in, on floor exercise, individual all-around, vault and uneven bars. Rebeca ends the world championship as a gold medalist in the all-around in an unprecedented way.
