Sisu opens registrations for the 2nd semester; new chance to enter a public university

Students who took the National High School Exam (Enem), and did NOT get a zero in the essay, will have another chance to enter a public university in the second semester of this year. It will be the second edition of the Unified Selection System (Sisu). Registration will be open from June 19th to 22nd, on the Single Access to Higher Education portal, from the Ministry of Education. 

Before registering with Sisu and ensuring a vacancy at a public higher education institution It is necessary to register by logging in with your CPF number and password, at gov.br portal, which is the federal government’s digital services platform.

The candidate must choose two course options in the second Sisu of 2023. And you can search for vacancies by municipality or undergraduate course of interest.  

During the Sisu registration period, the candidate will be able to monitor the cut-off scores for the chosen options and their partial classification.

If desired, registrants can change course options as many times as they wish. But only until the registration deadline. Because, from here on, the last choice will be worth it.

According to the schedule, the Sisu result will be published on June 27. If approved, just prepare the documentation to enroll between June 29th and July 4th.   

But, if it wasn't this time, those who weren't selected will have a new chance, a kind of recap, by signing up on the waiting list for a place at a university or public institute.  

The Sisu selection process notice, with all the rules, has not yet been published in the Official Gazette of the Union, but it should occur in the next few days.
