Trump is subpoenaed to testify about the invasion of the Capitol

The North American Congressional committee investigating the invasion of the Capitol formally subpoenaed former President Donald Trump this Friday (21) to testify. Testimony is expected to take place in mid-November.

In a public letter, the committee also determined that Trump present a series of documents before November 4th – including a report on all your communications on the date of the incident.

A invasion of the Capitol, the main symbol of the political power of United States, took place on January 6, 2021. On that date, a joint session of Congress was taking place that would confirm the victory of Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential elections – which would ratify the end of Donald Trump's term.
