The objective of the campaign is to encourage the electorate to vote freely and respectfully so that violence is left out of the electoral dispute, just as it should be left out of the football field. Giselly Siqueira, from the TSE's Communication Secretary, says that the initiative “will increase awareness of the importance of democracy among all sectors of society, encouraging the 'spirit of peaceful voting'”.

The campaign videos and spots, which were also produced in partnership with CBF, began to be shown last Thursday (22), on radio and television stations across the country, and will be broadcast until this Sunday (2) , first round of the 2022 Elections.
The radio and TV campaign is part of the mobilization that began on International Democracy Day, celebrated on September 15th. On that occasion, during the semi-finals game of the Copa do Brasil, a giant inflatable electronic ballot box entered the field, with the hashtag #PazNasEleições, to bring messages to the public about tolerance, dialogue, respect and unity in favor of peaceful elections.
For seven games, the ballot box was on the pitch before the matches, showing that the teams that represent Brazilian football play on the same side to defend democratic elections.
