In New York, in the USA, the candidate for re-election announced on Twitter the live streaming video of his speech at the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly, held this Wednesday (20) at around 11 am.

Bolsonaro expanded further in the post in which he speaks especially to the Christian electorate and repeats part speech at the UN, stating that Brazil is open to “welcoming Catholic priests and nuns persecuted by the dictatorial regime in Nicaragua”.

Classifying the situation in the country as “diabolical persecution”, Bolsonaro reaffirmed his defense of “religious freedom”. Despite the electoral speeches, the government of the current president embraces other persecutors of Christians, as leaders of Saudi Arabian monarchy.
