How will Moscow react?
This Wednesday (25), the Russian ambassador to Germany, Sergei Nechaev, criticized the decision, classifying it as “extremely dangerous”, and said that “it will take the conflict to a new level of confrontation”.
A European bloc source noted that tanks “are not a tool of escalation, given their likely use by the Ukrainians” only on their territory, not beyond.
In response, Moscow may be tempted to deploy its T-14 tank, a new generation of weaponry that has not been used in combat, on the ground for the first time.

An asset for Kiev
Since December, the Ucrania calls for the delivery of around 300 Western tanks to launch counteroffensives, after months of relative stability on the “front” and in the face of fears that the Russia launch a vast offensive in the Donbass, in the east, with the arrival of boreal spring (autumn in the southern hemisphere).
