During the week, Rogov reported that there had been a “marked increase in the intensity” of fighting in the region.
On Saturday (21), the Russian army reported that it began “offensive operations” in the region and guaranteed that it “took more advantageous lines and positions”.
Since Moscow withdrew from the city of Kherson in November, activity on the “front” in southern Ukraine has contrasted with intense fighting in the east.
