A Microsoft states that the application Android uses the company's latest advances in Generative AI and has the same features as iOS version. As there are more than 3 billion Android users around the world, the application can help improve the quality of life for many people.

New features built with user feedback

Seeing AI's latest features were developed with the help of user feedback. A Microsoft says the app now offers more detailed descriptions of images.

By default, Seeing AI will give you a brief summary of what a photo represents. When a user taps the “more info” icon, the app generates a much more detailed description of the image.

Another resource that Microsoft recently released following user feedback is the ability to ask questions about a document. After scanning a document, you can ask Seeing AI questions about things like menu items or the price of an item on an invoice.

A artificial intelligence offers users many more ways to discover the world around them by pointing the camera or taking a photo of something.

Seeing AI can scan barcodes and provide product information such as name and packaging details – where available – which can be particularly useful when it comes to medicines .
