CEO of Microsoft believes that the metaverse needs “moment ChatGPT"

During this year's World Economic Forum in Davos, the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, commented to the participants that he sees potential in web3 innovations such as blockchain and metaverse, but believes that the sector needs a “moment ChatGPT”, referring to the platform’s hype.



For the executive, web3, blockchain and the metaverse can guide the technology scenario in the near future, however, it needs even greater engagement to make a difference. During the event in Switzerland, Nadella commented: “All three of these things: web3, blockchain and the metaverse, are going to happen. But you need to have the killer apps, what is the use case that gets wide adoption? What is the moment ChatGPT for blockchain?”

The CEO of Microsoft brushed artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT due to the popularity gained by the platform in a short time. Launched in November 2022, the tool was able to accumulate one million users in just over a week.
