ChatGPT becomes active again for users in Italy

A OpenAI announced that access to its chatbot, ChatGPT, was restored in Italy. The artificial intelligence app was banned by the Italian data protection authority, also known as Garante, due to privacy concerns.

A OpenAI said it was able to resolve the issues raised and implemented additional measures such as making its privacy policy available to users before they register with ChatGPT and the inclusion of a tool to verify users' age.
