Decentraland now allows users to create “worlds” on the platform

Taking into account that the next stage of the web will be completely decentralized, the Decentraland allows users to also be creators. In these worlds that will be available for users to build, people will be able to create and build experiences and events.

Owner of the world will be able to receive up to one hundred people in space

In the announcement, the platform explained that these 3D virtual locations will be decided by their owners. The owner of the space will be able to decide the layout of the land, develop experiences and invite up to one hundred players to visit the space simultaneously. 

Decentraland makes property rentals available in the metaverse

The Decentraland platform, one of the most popular in the metaverse, now, in addition to offering land sales in its virtual environment, also allows properties to be rented. The action, previously only possible for the platform's administrators, is now available to any user who owns LAND, the virtual property.

These worlds are linked to NAME NFTs, a token that now serves as a currency of exchange across spaces. NAME holders will be able to claim their Worlds lands. It is worth remembering that holders will not be able to sell or exchange their worlds, however, users can still buy NAME token on the platform's market. 

As it is in the beta phase, Decentraland is still preparing more updates within the platform. The metaverse has been one of the busiest on web3, being responsible for hosting events such as Metaverse Fashion Week, hosting major fashion brands, and enabling greater freedom of negotiation among the platform's users.

From March 28th to 31st, 2023, the second edition of Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFw) will take place, the biggest fashion event on web3.
