DressX launches fashion collection with luxury brand on Roblox

Entitled “Party Drop”, the DressX collection in partnership with the luxury fashion brand Dundas will invade the virtual world of Roblox. Developed with Roblox's own technology, Layered Clothing, DressX and Dundas offer five items for platform users to use in games. Check out!

Designed for any avatar body type, the technology used in metaverse fashion includes realistic and inclusive 3D clothing. The designs are inspired by celebrity looks and carry a festive atmosphere. An example of this is one of the partnership's virtual dresses, which was inspired by the outfit worn by Beyonce at the 2017 Grammy Awards.

Users will be able to parade their looks in the different worlds of Roblox

In addition to the party clothes developed especially for the metaverse, more routine pieces are also highlighted in the collection, such as a sweatshirt and cap. For fashionistas on duty connected to web3, items can be purchased at the Roblox store, the Avatar Shop.

Whichever world the user accesses on Roblox, the wearer of the looks will be able to splurge on the pieces acquired from the collection. The launch is a clear nod to Roblox's younger audience, which could have great influential power in the coming years. According to the founder of the Dundas brand, Peter Dundas:

“The main goal is to utilize the new opportunities that digital fashion brings to the industry and help the Metaverse generation to be creative using some of the most recognizable celebrity looks that have gone digital. With the incredible amount of attention and demand we saw for our previous release, we are so excited to receive the community response to our new Party Drop that we carefully crafted with DressX.”
