“The festival highlights one of the most important issues in the world at the moment: the Amazon, which is both a forest and a city. There are many Amazons, and we are here to show all this plurality and break stereotypes. Art sensitizes people through emotion, transmits new perspectives through its languages. This edition also features unprecedented meetings between artists from the Amazon and São Paulo, with the aim of further circulating Brazilian art produced in the North region beyond the margins.” points out Aíla who, in addition to performing at the Festival, is co-artistic director of the project.
