FGV debates metaverse in free online event

The Fundação Getúlio Vargas School of Communication, Media and Information (FGV ECMI) is holding a free webinar open to the public about the metaverse. The event, entitled "Experimental cases and applications in the Metaverse", takes place on April 11th, at 14pm, and will be broadcast live via Zoom and FGV's YouTube channel. The objective of the meeting is to discuss the possible applications of the metaverse.

The webinar speakers are four experts on the subject: Mariana Amaro, Communications coordinator at Nuuvem, Olívia Merquior, CEO of Iara Land and creator of Brazil Immersive Fashion Week, Mohammad Zia, manager of Campaigns and Programs in Public Policies at Meta, and Luis Gomes, Innovation coordinator at FGV ECMI.

O metaverse It has diverse applications, from meetings with friends to political campaigns. The webinar is an opportunity to discuss some of its applications, such as remote work and fashion. The live broadcast will be available on FGV's YouTube channel and on Zoom, and the event will be open to the general public.
