Japanese giants announce Metaverse Economic Zone

With the aim of creating an immersive experience integrating the technology industry, ten large Japanese companies announced the 'Japan Metaverse Economic Zone', something like an ecosystem to explore the possibilities of the metaverse. The announcement was made this Monday (27) and includes powers in the Asian economy, such as Mitsubishi and the payments company JCB.

In total, the companies JCB, Mizuho, ​​Sumitomo Mitsui, Resona Holdings, Sompo Japan Insurance, Toppan, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi UFJ, Mitsubishi Corporation and TBT Lab are part of the project. The idea is to integrate a sequence of technology components to foster industry development across the metaverse.
