Locaweb launches Wake, a brand focused on e-commerce services that uses artificial intelligence in customer service

Locaweb - a cloud computing, website hosting and internet services company - launched, on Wednesday (26), Wake: a new brand focused on e-commerce services. The launch, which has pillars involving marketing, marketplace and consumer experience, aims to innovate by adding artificial intelligence to customer service.

A Wake Experience, a division focused on customer behavior and solutions for company communication, brings an integrated system of IA to understand people's needs.

The solution works as follows: the company uses algorithms and statistics to train the product and determine the best time and channel to send communications to customers. They use data to understand consumer behavior and maximize gains for the retailer and end consumer.

The company also offers the possibility for consumers to use the artificial intelligence in marketing automation campaigns. 

O head de engenharia da Wake Experience, Roger Matos, explains that they “have an algorithm based on machine learning which decides, based on consumer behavior, what is the best time to send a message to consumer X or Y”.
