Meta releases report on the future of working with the metaverse

In addition to directly interfering in new ways of relating through the internet, the metaverse aims to help with the future of work as well. Based on this proposal, the biggest technology player in the world, Meta, released a report after interviewing 2000 employees and 400 business leaders in the United States and United Kingdom about the possibility of professionals adopting the metaverse.

From the survey, 69% of workers said they would like meetings to be more immersive and engaging. Furthermore, 66% think that the metaverse will help with the correlation of unity within the work environment.

Research results show that people want to feel like they belong in their work

From quantitative data it is still possible to understand the desire, on the part of professionals, to feel like they belong to a project. 68% of people believe that organizations that create a virtual presence will be able to create a feeling of belonging in this new reality of hybrid work.

The data was released by the vice-president of Meta in northern Europe, Steve Hatch. The report is part of a series of research that Meta has been carrying out to make the metaverse viable and try to break the wave of investor withdrawal, who began to distrust the turn of virtual reality after the company's downturn.

We recently reported here on Newsverso that Meta expects to contribute US$3 trillion to global GDP. Understand: In an attempt to maintain trust in web3, Meta says that metaverse could contribute US$3 trillion to global GDP
