Goal outlines plans to attract 500 people to Horizon Worlds by June

In the Meta document released by The Wall Street Journal that outlines the company's plans for the first half of 2023, entitled “Horizon 2023 Objectives and Strategies”, shows an overview of the updates that are to come on the platform. The focus is to increase the user base and popularize Meta Horizon Worlds. The goal is to have 500 active users on the platform by June.

In the document with the Goal's ambitions, in addition to the plan to include teenagers aged 13 to 17 in the Horizon worlds, the company also wants to increase its monthly active user base by mid-year. It is estimated that currently 200 thousand people are regular users within the metaverse, for June, executives plan 500 thousand users.

The method to attract more people will happen through updates to the platform. In addition to the popular partnerships with other multinationals, Meta promeyou over 20 new immersive experiences produced by third-party studios.

Making the platform more accessible to more people is also one of the company's objectives. According to the document, Meta wants to launch Horizon for desktop and mobile devices as well. Currently, the metaverse can only be accessed through Quest virtual reality glasses. Meta also plans to improve the performance of the service, improving the platform to eliminate bugs and make the experience increasingly realistic.
