Metaverso Decentraland announces event focused on inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ community

O virtual event, which will take place from June 27th to 29th, celebrates LGBTQIA+ diversity and inclusion. Attendees will have access to virtual experiences, live performances, prizes and community-related educational content. 

Custom avatars and clothing can be created, as well as the opportunity to participate in panel discussions and workshops on LGBTQIA+ rights and mental health at Metaverse Pride. 

Anyone who wants to participate in the celebration in the metaverse, you must create an account on Decentraland and access the environment.

The person responsible for the event, Lara Dias, commented that “by actively involving community members in organizing the event, we seek to foster a sense of sharing and unity within our virtual community”.

This is the third edition of Pride. Major details about the event were not released by the platform, but, according to the company, the calendar will be updated in the coming days.
