Agribusiness metaverse offers virtual reality training

With the aim of offering technical and effective training for people working in the field, an agency developing virtual and augmented reality tools launched 'AgroVersus', a metaverse focused on agribusiness.

Despite being in the testing phase and only having a small space available to explore, the agricultural metaverse brings an educational proposal in its concept. Developed by Agência Casa Mais, which proposes virtual reality solutions, the user's avatar can interact with a plantation and find out more information about larvae and bedbugs.

The user, when clicking on the menu command, will receive instructions from a type of virtual mentor. Therefore, if a farmer does not know about a certain animal that appeared in his field, he will receive information and guidance in the virtual environment.

With the aim of being accessible to the widest possible audience, the metaverse has simple navigation tools, and provides general guidelines when opening the environment. For future updates, the platform promeintroduce you to more environments in the world and offer more information about different crops. Training can be done using virtual reality glasses, or even using the computer's browser.

Fábio Costa, CEO of Agência Casa Mais, explains that “everything is personalized for each reality and agronomic need with the aim of training and qualifying field technicians in charge of carrying out phytosanitary monitoring on farms and facilitating their work”.
