Metaverse is a business opportunity for 55% of people, says research

The Consumer Electronics Show 5, the largest technology fair in the world, is taking place in Las Vegas, in the United States, between the 8th and 2023th. There, many metaversonic initiatives are being presented. At the event, research from the consulting company Accenture was also presented, indicating that the metaverse should be responsible for more than US$1 trillion in circulation by 2025.

The methodology of search As follows, Accenture interviewed around 9 consumers to understand the monetization potential of the metaverse. According to the results released, 55% of people see the metaverse as a business opportunity. Furthermore, 70% of people think that the metaverse is a gateway to internet services such as fitness, entertainment and tourism.

Those covered in the research understand that the metaverse is an opportunity that escapes the world of games

Among the questionresearch, the Accenture also asked about how users see the metaverse, and according to the result, only 4% understand that the platform is only for games. Thus, exposing that most people understand that the new moment of the internet is about opportunities on the most diverse fronts.

“Consumers are beginning to view the metaverse as an essential tool that, when integrated into their lives, can simplify how they complete tasks and increase productivity. Companies capable of delivering tangible experiences that meet consumer needs in key areas of interest will gain first-mover advantages in a rapidly forming metaverse industry.”

Regarding ease of access to the metaverse, the majority of respondents want an easy-to-access interface, around 70%. Another 68% still want access to a wide variety of apps.
