City councilor questionthe Cultural Turn in the metaverse
In contrast to the proposal, councilor Toninho Vespoli (Psol) asked the Municipal Audit Court (TCM) to analyze the edict. According to Vespoli, the amount invested does not match the popularity of virtual environments, which cannot be accessed by a large part of the Brazilian population. On the other hand, City Hall stated that the hiring has not yet been confirmed and that the process is ongoing. Regarding the councilor's request to TCM, the City Hall claims that it was not notified.
