Puma announces launch of Black Station web3 experience

Puma is preparing to launch a web3 experience called Black Station. The launch, which should take place this month, was recently revealed by the company on its official web3 Twitter page.

Scheduled to be released on June 13th, the BlackStation promeprovide visitors with complete immersion in a unique virtual environment, with an “ethereal city above the clouds” called Unkai, where it will be possible to explore urban landscapes. In this environment, characters who are part of the Puma team, such as Neymar, are represented by their avatars.

In addition to the virtual experience itself, Puma also plans to release a series of limited edition physical and digital items. Although details about these products have not yet been released, the company has made it clear that consumers can expect exclusive and innovative pieces. 

Puma targets web3 and wants to compete with Nike

In a tweet recent, the brand mentioned, “There’s a whole world to explore alongside limited edition physical and digital products that you have to see to believe.” With this, Puma seeks to create a unique connection between the real and the virtual world. Puma's intention is not to be left behind in the race for web3, taking into account that Nike already has its own platform for promoting NFTs.
