What are the metaverse trends for 2023?

For many, the metaverse is the next big thing for the internet. Included within the web3 proposal, technology can transform the way people interact and even work, just as happened with the emergence of social networks at the beginning of the millennium. We spoke with Arthur Igreja, master in Business Management and innovation specialist to understand, from his perspective, how the metaverse scenario should shape itself in 2023.

According to data from Newzoo, IDC, PWC, Statista and Two Circles, released by Bloomberg, revenue from the metaverse could reach US$800 billion by 2024. With technology giants eyeing the pioneering of the metaverse, and the disbelief of most people in the technology, I asked the Church about practical and technical issues of adopting web3, and I also provoked him to reflect on the lessons learned from the metaverse's turbulent period in 2022.
