Find out everything about Farlight 84, the game that is giving Free Fire a headache

In recent years, the battle royale game craze has taken over the internet. Popular franchises such as Fortnite, Valorant and Free Fire have captured the minds of young people on the internet. Now, a new open-world confrontational game is threatening the hegemony of the strong names on the market, Farlight 84.

Launched on April 23, in one month, the game has already accumulated an impressive 12 million accounts created on the platform, according to the developer. Of course, this number doesn't come close to the average of more than 100 million players of its main competitor, Free Fire, but on the internet, Farlight's loyal players have been flooding social networks with content about the battle royale.

O game, which can be accessed on PC or smartphone, has a similar proposal to others already popular on the market, however, some subtle differences may unravel the mystery of Farlight's rapid leverage.

It turns out that, unlike Free Fire, in this shootout you can die once and be resurrected again. Furthermore, the character designs have their own attractive aesthetic.

Another strong argument among fans of this new gaming craze is that the system is more efficient in banning hackers and reduces the benefit potential of “pay-to-win” players, those who invest a lot of money in the game to get rewards faster. .

Players have been surprised by the game

Another aspect that may be hyping the shooting game is the interest of major Free Fire influencers in Farlight. Names like Weedzao, Cerol, Piozinho and Coringa, with millions of followers on social media, have already said they want to play the new craze.

At the time of publishing this report, the game is in second place among the most downloaded games in Brazil on the Play Store. A week ago, Farlight was in first place, ahead of Free Fire itself.

The company responsible for the game, Lilith Games, is based in Singapore. The report tried to locate a representative in Brazil, but without success.

Despite this, the game's senior technical designer, Jiujan Jeremy Liu, explains that Farlight's success may be related to the developer's RPG expertise: “While Lilith Games is known for our impeccable RPG and strategy games, we took our learned experience on these previous releases and assembled a world-class team to create an original, quality, feature-rich shooter.”
