Brazilian universities also seek space in the metaverse
As is traditional, everything new also becomes popular quickly in Brazil. Recently, some higher education institutions announced spaces created in a universe offered by Web 3.0 or joined the use of the metaverse.
This is the case with University of São Paulo (USP) and Administration Institute Foundation (FIA Business School), both located in the capital of São Paulo.
In the first half of 2023, the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC-PR) will launch a graduation modality called 4D (fourth dimension). There, the student will be able to access information using the metaverse, try out new teaching technologies and take advantage of the university's human resources.
