Upland launches Buenos Aires into the metaverse

In addition to the construction of the city, Upland also signed a partnership with the Argentine Football Association (AFA), to bring all clubs in the first division of the national championship to the virtual world. Dirk Lueth, founder of the company, says:

“We are excited to start our story with Argentina in style. In addition to welcoming Buenos Aires, we signed a partnership with the AFA (Argentine Football Association) to include all first division clubs on the city's mirrored map. Buenos Aires has six neighborhoods that can be accessed in Upland

After mirroring Buenos Aires in Upland, users will be able to visit and purchase virtual properties in the metaverse in six neighborhoods of the city: La Boca, Porto Madero, Recoleta, Retiro, San Telmo and Nunez.

The director of Upland in Latin America, Brazilian Ney Neto, says that “there are expansion plans to launch other neighborhoods, in addition to expanding Upland’s presence in Argentina with participation in events and actions to launch the partnership with AFA” .
