Musk's xAI will enable the chatbot Grok for all premium X subscribers

Elon Musk announced this Tuesday (26) that the chatbot Grok, from artificial intelligence startup xAI, will be enabled for all premium subscribers of social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

The billionaire made the announcement in a post on X, without revealing any further details. Previously, the chatbot was only available to Premium+ subscribers.

As more advertisers move away from the platform, Musk has emphasized reducing the company's reliance on advertising and shifting its focus to more attractive subscription plans.

Earlier this month, Musk said the XAI would open the source code of Grok , after processing the OpenAI for allegedly abandoning its original mission in favor of a for-profit model.

The move could give the public free access to try out the code behind the technology and align xAI with companies like Meta.
