Fire hits the Taim Ecological Station, in the south of the country

The fire at the Taim Ecological Station, located in Rio Grande do Sul, reached its fourth day this Thursday (15th) with 4 hectares of burned area. The flames started on Monday afternoon (2.500). According to the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio), the fire was caused by lightning.

A Taim Ecological Station It has international recognition and is home to 30 species of mammals and 250 species of birds.
