Technology has produced not just a realistic animated character, but its own metaverse, where she spends her time vlogging about a range of educational topics, based on scientific research.

Students become the decision makers

The game Impact Simulator puts students in the spotlight. As decision makers, they decide on four possible policy directions, all with specific outcomes documented and visualized by the game.

Based on your knowledge of the ozone layer, its function and importance, the impacts of its decisions on the environment, society, economy and political hegemony are recorded and scored.

“By providing young people with innovative learning tools, we hope to inspire them to become future scientists and policymakers who advocate for environmental protection,” said Meg Seki, Executive Secretary of the Ozone Secretariat.

Protect the ozone layer

Although the ozone layer is on the road to recovery by mid-century thanks to the efforts of the Montreal Protocol, the successes achieved so far could easily be undone.

Future generations need to be aware of the importance of ozone layer, because its protection is essential to contain the increase in climate change and protect the planet.
