African countries call on rich nations to honor prome$100 billion climate finance grant

At an official preparatory meeting in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, this Wednesday (5), speakers echoed frustration over the promeone of the rich nations that was not fulfilled: climate financing at US$100 billion. The amount was prometaken during Cop15 in Copenhagen to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address the impact of the climate crisis on those most affected.
