EU climate plan wants to implement drastic cuts and zero emissions in the bloc's buses and trucks

The European Commission proposed, this Tuesday (14), to cut by at least 90%, compared to 2019, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from trucks sold in the bloc from 2040 onwards, in addition to implementing the policy of zero emissions on all urban buses by 2030. 🚛

The Commission's general proposal will be negotiated with the countries of European Union and revises emissions standards CO2 for heavy vehicles in the context of the bloc's ambitious climate plan.
