According to the Municipal Health Department, the Domestic Animal Health and Protection Coordination (Cosap) currently has 247 animals available for adoption, including dogs, cats and farm animals. To adopt dogs and cats, you must present documentation from the future guardian (ID and CPF), as well as proof of recent residence (within the last 3 months). You must also bring a collar and leash, in the case of dogs, or a carrier, in the case of cats, and pay an administrative fee of R$29,30.

A animal adoption will be offered at the Municipal Dog and Cat Adoption Center during all event days, including Sunday, and will be open from 9am to 17pm. To see the animals available for adoption, simply access the city hall website.
A rabies vaccination, issuance of the RGA and castration term will be offered from October 4th to 11th by the 28 Health Surveillance Units (Uvis), between 9am and 16pm and the Zoonosis Surveillance Division (DVZ), between 9am and 17pm. To receive the rabies vaccine, the animal must be healthy. Dogs and cats with diarrhea, undergoing treatment or convalescing from surgery must wait for recovery. After immunization, pets can receive water and food normally.
A microchip identification will be held from 7 to 9, from 9 am to 17 pm. The issuance of the castration term will be provided from tomorrow until October 11th, from 9am to 16pm (Uvis + mobile stations) and DVZ, from 9am to 17pm.
