“Veganuary”, a meat-free diet challenge, has record participation

The name is a sum of the English words “vegan” (vegan) + “january” (January), the month in which people tend to be more likely to make positive changes. 🐮

And Brazil was highlighted! According to the first survey carried out by YouGov in Latin America, in January, 8% of Brazilian respondents said they had participated in Vegan during the month.

In 2023, the NGO had the support of personalities such as Xuxa, Luisa Mell and Hana Khalil. Internationally, previous participants in the Vegan include rock legend Brian May, The Big Bang Theory actress Mayim Bialik and actor Joaquin Phoenix, among others, who continue to support the cause.
