See what CEOs around the world think about sustainability

Around 87% of executive directors warn that the challenging global context will limit the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The analysis is part of the largest study on sustainability with a group of CEOs ever carried out by the UN Global Compact and the consultancy Accenture.

O 12th study of CEOs from the United Nations Accenture Global Compact (🇬🇧) is based on contributions from more than 2,6 executives across 128 countries, 18 industries, and more than 130 in-depth interviews.

In the document, participants warn about the impact of converging obstacles on business and society, from socioeconomic instability to the immediate effects of climate changes.

Nearly half of business leaders surveyed say their sustainability process have been harmed due to the current geopolitical environment.

According to research, almost 98% of CEOs agree that the sustainability process is fundamental to its function. This opinion has grown by 5 percentage points in the last 10 years of the study.
