Money in the account: Revenue starts paying the first batch of IR 2023 refunds

This Wednesday (31), the Federal Revenue will release the payment of the first batch of refunds for Personal Income Tax (IR) for 2023. The amounts are deposited in the taxpayer's current account, indicated in the declaration. The first to receive are seniors over 80 years old, people with disabilities, teachers and those who made a pre-filled declaration or chose to receive the refund through Pix. 

The first batch of Income Tax refunds this year is considered by the Revenue the greatest in history: are paid approx. $ 7,5 billion to taxpayers.

Payment will be made to 4,1 million taxpayers.

To check whether the refund is available, the taxpayer must access the IRS page on the internet and click on the items “My Income Tax” and “Check the Refund”.

Tax declaration submission began on March 15th and ends today, at 23:59 pm.
