Exam/Idea: Lula has 52% in the 2nd round and Bolsonaro, 45%

The Exame/Ideia survey on the presidential dispute released this Thursday (20) shows former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) with 52% of voting intentions. The current president and candidate for re-election, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), appears with 48%.

Instituto Ideia, hired by Exame, interviewed 1.500 people between October 14th and 19th. The survey was registered in the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under protocol 00053/2022 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Considering the blank and null votes, Lula has 50% and Bolsonaro, 46%. Undecided voters total 2%, the same percentage as those who do not have a preference for any of the candidates.
