The metaverse's main proposal is to offer couples a series of immersive environments that can be accessed through virtual reality glasses. Inside the virtual world, in 3D, the person will be able to build their avatar and go in search of a companion. If the person finds someone nice, they can ask them to take a walk in a park or see a movie at the cinema. All within the Planet Theta.

According to Aurora Townsend, marketing director at Planet Theta, the idea of creating the first metaverse for dating arose during the pandemic, when no one could physically interact to find partners. In an interview with BeondTV, from the USA, she said that dating apps were overloaded, but were insufficient for people's demands.
During this year's Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, the executive even commented that the goal of the metaverse is to offer sensations and even physical touches when the technology is available. For now, users still won't be able to do this, but using virtual reality glasses they won't have the limitation of only seeing photos and exchanging messages in chat.
The opening of the metaverse to the general public takes place on Valentine's Day in the United States, with this the platform intends to bring a good user base to the Planet Theta. For those curious, the platform will not yet be available in Brazil. Therefore, what remains is to wait for the day when it will be possible to set a date in virtual reality.
