Corinthians fan, Alexandre de Moraes remembers that 'Palmeiras doesn't have a World Cup'

Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court, once again became the focus of comments on social media, but now it had nothing to do with hunting down extremists: he joked during a session broadcast on TV Justiça with Palmeiras, which is the biggest rival of your favorite team, Corinthians. 😉

The joke was made with my colleague Dias Toffoli, who is from Palmeiras.

"After that tragic event between Corinthians and Russia, we extirpated the Russians from Corinthians and, later, we were champions of the Brazilian Championship twice and once of the World Cup, in 2012, [a title] that Palmeiras does not have, unfortunately, Minister Toffoli”

Do you know what the agenda was? A problem involving the use of Russian applications in Brazil, such as Telegram, which was mentioned shortly before the mockery.

And there? Does Palmeiras have a World Cup or not?

Palmeiras fans consider the 1951 Rio Cup as the club's world title, and some newspapers from that time also followed this thesis.

The tournament was organized in partnership with Fifa, the governing body for world football, using the structure of the 1950 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil. Do you understand the controversy?
