Congress in Focus report provides a survey of who the ministers and secretaries are confirmed so far for the Lula 3 government.

Seven names were confirmed by the beginning of this Friday (16). Find out a little more about them:
Fernando Haddad, Minister of Finance: Lawyer by training, academic and teacher, he was mayor of São Paulo, former Minister of Education in the Lula and Dilma Rousseff governments.
Under his portfolio, there will be the positions already announced:
- Executive Secretary: Gabriel Galípolo
- Secretary of Economic Policy for Tax Reform: Bernard Appy
- President of BNDES: Aloizio Mercadante
José Múcio, Minister of Defense: civil engineer and politician affiliated with the PTB, he was president of the Federal Court of Auditors and minister of Institutional Relations in the previous Lula administration.

Under his portfolio will be the previously announced secretaries:
- Army Commander: army general Julio Cesar de Arruda
- Navy Commander: Fleet Admiral Marcos Sampaio Olsen
- Air Force Commander: Air Lieutenant Marcelo Kanitz Damasceno
- Commander of the General Staff of the Armed Forces: Fleet Admiral Renato Rodrigues de Aguiar Freire
Rui Costa, Minister of the Civil House: economist and politician affiliated with the PT, current governor of Bahia

Flávio Dino, Minister of Justice: lawyer, professor of constitutional law and former magistrate, affiliated with the PCdoB, former governor of the state of Maranhão and elected senator.

Under his portfolio will be the previously announced secretaries:
- Executive Secretary: Ricardo Cappelli
- Secretariat for Access to Justice: Marivaldo Pereira
Mauro Vieira, Minister of Foreign Affairs: Brazilian lawyer and diplomat. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Dilma Rousseff government (2015 and 2016), and currently serves as Brazilian Ambassador to Croatia

Under his portfolio will be the previously announced secretary:
- General Secretary of Itamaraty: Maria Laura da Rocha
Luiz Marinho, Minister of Labor: federal deputy elected by São Paulo, affiliated to the PT, state president of the party, graduated in law, with a career in trade unionism. He was Lula's minister and also mayor of São Bernardo do Campo (SP).

Margareth Menezes, Minister of Culture: Brazilian singer, songwriter and former actress, founder of a non-profit institution focused on education, culture and sustainability
