Lula will be declared president on December 12

The diploma ceremony for Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Geraldo Alckmin - president and vice-elect - is scheduled to take place at 14pm on December 12th, by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). Diplomation is a ceremony organized by the Electoral Court to formalize the choice of the person elected by the majority of Brazilians at the polls. The inauguration for the position will only take place on January 1, 2023, and there will be a celebrity show. The event was called "Festival of the Future".

During the event, which marks the end of the electoral process, the respective diplomas signed by the president of the TSE, minister Alexandre de Moraes, will be delivered.

Upon graduation, those elected are able to take up the positions for which they were elected.

Posse will have shows with celebrities

Lula's inauguration will feature shows by Pabllo Vittar, Duda Beat, Maria Rita, Baiana System, Martinho da Vila, Gabi Amarantos and Valesca Popozuda.

The information was released today by the future first lady, Rosângela Lula da Silva, known as Janja.

Ludmilla, Emicida, Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso were also invited, and are expected to participate in the event in Brasília, on January 1st.

Janja has personally organized the party, which he named “Festival of the Future”.
