Why does it decrease?

It is worth remembering that Petrobras follows the import parity policy (PPI). In other words, this parameter considers the price of fuel charged on the international market, as well as its price in dollars.

In recent weeks, the price of oil on the international market began to decline. Today, for example, a barrel is traded at around US$94 (I.e.. In March, because of the War in Ukraine, this price reached US$140.

According to the state-owned company, as prices on the international market have stabilized at a lower level, this announced adjustment follows the evolution of reference prices.
