If he wins the elections, the PED member mentioned that he intends to implement an “unprecedented” bill called the “Anti-Greed Law”. The idea is to establish a limit for charging interest on the debts of the Brazilian population. The proposal was presented for the first time during Ciro's hearing at JN.

If he wins the elections, the PT member stated that creating jobs for the Brazilian population will be an “obsession” during his government. “It’s what gives the most dignity to human beings, when you work and return home with your daily bread, bought with the money from your sweat,” he said.

Bolsonaro (PL)

The treatment given to Lula during the hearing at JN was the reason for complaints from President Bolsonaro. He stated that he was not surprised by the questions asked by journalists William Bonner and Renata Vasconcellos, and attributed this to the supposed cut in funds allocated to the broadcaster. “It would be strange for me, who turned off the tap.”

The PT member started the day by asking his followers to activate notifications on Twitter to follow all the details of the hearing. “Today I will be interviewed as a candidate on Jornal Nacional. The last time was in the 2006 election, when my opponent was… Geraldo Alckimn”, he commented.

Lula also took the opportunity to recall the first question asked by William Bonner in the hearing held before his first term.

One of the focuses of the candidate's campaign is health. Tebet went online to criticize the amounts allocated to the area in the 2023 Budget, which may be lower due to the capture of funds by the secret budget. “In the worst health crisis this country has ever seen, this is unacceptable,” she said.

Bolsonaro (PL)

The president also criticized what he called an “aggression on freedom of expression” in the publication. The speech took place two days after an operation against Bolsonaro businessmen suspected of sharing coup messages on WhatsApp.

The fulfillment of these warrants by the Federal Police raised discussions among jurists and lawyers about the legitimacy of the operation authorized by STF minister Alexandre Moraes.

“This is nothing more than my obligation, but I present myself with the moral authority to speak about these issues,” he said.

He reinforced that what has increased corruption in the country is impunity.
