Oscar 2023: Globo gives up exhibition rights and ceremony goes to TNT and HBO Max

After years of broadcasting the Oscar ceremonies, TV Globo gave up the broadcasting rights and not even Globoplay (streaming organizations) will broadcast the long-awaited night on the Hollywood red carpet. Those who love cinema and don't miss the awards will be able to watch the 2023 statuette being handed over via HBO MAX streaming or via the closed channel TNT.

It took decades to broadcast the ceremony of Oscar, with all the 'pomp' it deserves and a good audience, but the TV Globe – which restricted the screening of the North American cinema festival to Globoplay in 2022 – decided to give up broadcasting rights for this year. (Omelet)
