Rapper Kanye West went to the Drink Champs podcast and his participation was quite controversial. Ye spoke about the case of George Floyd, and said that he did not die from asphyxiation, but rather from the use of fentanyl. Floyd died in 2020, victim of police aggression in the United States.

“I watched the George Floyd documentary that Candace Owens released. One of the things two of his roommates said was that they wanted a tall guy like me, and the day he died, he said a prayer for eight minutes. They [roommates] injected him with fentanyl,” Kanye said. “If you look, the guy [police]’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that,” said the rapper.
